Donetsk, Dec 30 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Minister of Education and Science Mikhail Kushakov has handed in Russian refresher training certificates to 63 DPR teachers. The ceremony took place in the DPR Education and Science Ministry’s conference hall on Thursday.
The advanced training courses, designed by the Sochi Prosveschenie education centre were taken by teachers from Donetsk, Makyevka, Gorlovka, Snezhny, Torez, Yasinovataya, Khartyzsk and Shakhtyorsk.
Kushakov also handed in certificates of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science on state accreditation of education programs to representatives of the Donbass National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Shakhtyorsk Teachers’ Training College, the Donetsk College of Restaurant Business and Trade and Makeyevka’s School No 2 Prestige.
“We’ll continue to develop our education system integrating it into the Russian science and education space. We’ll work on providing advance training to our educators and teachers,” he said.
Wrapping up the ceremony, the official offered his best New Year wishes to the participants.
Donetsk’s Gorky National Medical University was the first DPR education centre to receive state accreditation in Russia in the autumn of 2018. All top universities, vocational colleges and schools in the Republic have joined the process since.*jk
