Donetsk, Oct 14 — DAN. The organizing committee of the Donetsk branch of the all-Russia political party “United Russia” held its first session in the DPR capital on Friday.
The session was chaired by interim Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin. The committee focused on preparation for and holding of the general meeting of Donetsk branch members.
“We have to make several decisions at today’s session of the organizing committee, ” Pushilin said. “Smooth teamwork is important. The Organizing Committee members and their number were approved on October 12. We’re putting on the agenda the preparation for and holding of the general meeting of the Donetsk regional branch on October 12, 2022.”
The decision was unanimously supported by the Organizing Committee members.
On October 6, Secretary of the “United Russia” General Council Andrey Turchak said that the Party would set up regional branches in the new Russian regions: the DPR, the LPR and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Turchak also announced preparations for Party conferences in these regions.*jk
