Donetsk, Oct 5 — DAN. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree appointing Denis Pushilin interim head of the new Russian constituent region — the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on Wednesday.
“Denis Vladimirovich Pushilin will hold an interim appointment as Head of the DPR until the elected DPR Head takes office, ” the decree said.
Also on Wednesday, the legal information portal published Putin’s decrees appointing Leonid Pasechnik interim head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Vladimir Saldo interim governor of the Kherson region and Yevgeny Balitsky interim governor of the Zaporozhye region.*jk
