Donetsk, May 6 – DAN. DPR Head Denis Pushilin has expressed their condolences over the tragedy involving a Russian Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet plane that made a hard landing in a Moscow airport on Sunday and caught fire.
Russian Aeroflot Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane, Flight SU 1492, carrying 73 passengers and five crew was headed to the northern city of Murmansk from Moscow.
Shortly after the take-off, it turned back for a technical reason. Social media videos showed the aircraft bouncing along the tarmac at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport as it made an emergency landing before the rear part of the plane bursts into flames. The accident has killed 41 people, including two children and one crew member. Thirty-seven survived and escaped via the planes emergency slides.
"I express my deep condolences to families of those who lost lives in the Sheremetyevo catastrophe on May 5. This monstrous tragedy makes our hearts ache, we share the pain of loss and sincerely sympathize with everyone affected. We wish the soonest recovery to the injured. May the victims be always remembered," Pushilin said. *ot
