Donetsk, Feb 14 — DAN. Civil servants of the new Russian regions have begun training at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANERA), the Academy’s press service reported on Tuesday.

“Pursuant to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s instruction, RANERA has launched a comprehensive training program for civil servants of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, ” the press service said.

The training will facilitate the implementation of social support measures and investment mechanisms, and effectively establish government bodies under Russian norms. The program was launched by First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergey Kiriyenko and DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin.

 “I hope that we won’t have to wait long for the results of the training program; it’s important for quick and seamless transition period, ” Pushilin said in a post on Telegram.

Some 6,000 executives from the new Russian regions have enrolled in RANERA programs. They will receive instruction from representatives of federal government bodies and sponsor regions, and take part in team-building workshops.*jk
