Donetsk, May 6 - DAN. DPR has appointed Olga Makeyeva the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Russia.
The respective decree No. 182 has been signed by the DPR Head Denis Pushilin on Friday.
Olga Makeyeva is a deputy of the DPR Parliament of the I and II convocations. She has been elected the Vice Speaker in October 2015.
On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Treaties of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance were concluded with each of the Republics. At the same time, Putin instructed the Foreign Ministry to negotiate with Donetsk and Lugansk on the establishment of diplomatic relations. *ot
