Donetsk, Apr 29 – DAN. Zelensky has no right to speak about Ukraine's territorial integrity after he signed the land sale law, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said.

"Zelenskiy has finally signed the anti-Ukrainian law on land sale and called this a historical event. He encroached on the national treasure. He is no longer entitled to speak about its territorial integrity. "

Pushilin said that Zelensky's rhetoric on Donbass is a bid to lay hands on the region's rich lands.

He called on the Ukrainian citizens to realize the true intention of their president, that is to destroy the country and its people.

The law on the land sale was passed by the Rada on March 31. First, private plots will be eligible for sale. For the first two years, state and communal lands will not be put on sale.

The IMF was one of those who lobbied the law. Zelensky said that the enactment of the bill will open the way to USD 10 billion aid for the country. The World Bank demanded further amendments as making larger territories (currently maximum 100 ha) available for privatization.

The law comes into force on October 1, 2020. *ot
