Donetsk, Dec 20 — DAN. Alexander Ananchenko, former chairman of the Donetsk People’s Republic government has been appointed DPR senator at the Federation Council upper house of the Russian parliament.
“Alexander Ananchenko has been vested with the powers of Russian Federation senator representing the DPR People’s Council, the DPR parliament press service reported on Tuesday.
Ananchenko was DPR government chairman from 2018 to 2022. He was relieved of his duties in June 2022.*jk
