St Petersburg, Jun 6 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic leadership plans to present the Republic’s economic potential at the next Petersburg economic forum, DPR Head Denis Pushilin told reporters on Thursday.
“The Petersburg economic forum is a grand and large event, as the number of represented countries, organisations and corporations show,” Pushilin said. “Overall, it’s very interesting. We have to prepare for the next year.”
“They have to know the DPR, and this platform is very good. I believe we’ll find an understanding with forum organisers and agree full-fledged representation here in order to show ourselves and our capabilities.”
The DPR Head said that he had held a number of business meetings at the forum and that more talks were planned.
Earlier reports said that a DPR delegation was on a visit to St Petersburg. It includes DPR government chairman Alexander Ananchenko, Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova, Finance Minister Yana Chausova, Tax and Revenue Minister Yevgeny Lavrenov and other officials.
