Donetsk, Nov 16 — DAN. A decision has been made to build a water line from the river Don to the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin said after talks with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“Special attention has been paid to the water supply problem; a decision has been made to build a water line from the Don. Although the project is complex and expensive, its implementation is scheduled for the first half of 2023, ” Pushilin wrote on Telegram.

The Republic has been experiencing shortages of drinking water due to hostilities since February. The situation remains very tense. Trucks deliver water to large towns according to schedule. Drinking or service water is periodically supplied to residents for free.*jk
