Donetsk, Dec 17 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic will not swerve from the road of integration with Russia, DPR leader Denis Pushilin said at a press briefing in Donetsk on Tuesday.
“After the “Normandy Four” meeting we understood who our friend was and who our enemy was. We want to walk along the same track with Russia, and we’ll move systemically towards this goal, regardless of Kiev’s opinion,” Pushilin said. “Furthermore, integration in no way contradicts the Minsk Agreements.”
The DPR leader said that the Package of Measures fixes the opportunity to develop cross-border cooperation with Russia. “Therefore, the economic, socio-cultural, scientific, education, sport, everyday and other kinds of interactions with the Russian Federation are fully consistent with the concept of a peaceful settlement of the conflict,” Pushilin said. “One of the key points of the Republic’s position is that integration with Russia has already been launched and that under no conditions will we stop it.” *jk
