Donetsk, Nov 23 – DAN. Minsk talks should be regulated by clear rules, said DPR representative in political subgroup, acting DPR Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
"In the circumstances of Ukraine's denial of Minsk subgroups importance, we emphasized the necessity to adopt clear rules on agenda approval, recording results, positions, controversies, agreements achieved and deadlines for their implementation."
Nikonorova believes such rules would prevent Ukraine from starting every meeting from the very beginning denying previous agreements.
"The protocol would put the negotiations in order without interrupting discussion by the topics that had been already talked over."
Nikonorova earlier described the talks as moving in a vicious circle as Kiev demonstrates its unawareness of the previously agreed results. The situation could be resolved with clear methods of work, recording of the results of each session and Ukraine’s mandatory presentation of its official position.
Today political, humanitarian and security subgroups and the Contact Group held meetings in Minsk, while the talks of the economic subgroup have not transpired as Kiev reps ignored the meeting for the 6th time running.
Next rounds of meeting are scheduled for December 7th
