DPR Prosecutor General’s Office tasks parliament with appointing acting Head of Republic

Donetsk, Sep 7 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic acting Prosecutor General Andrey Spivak submitted a statement to the People’s Council (parliament) noting the need  to appoint acting Head of the Republic.

In accordance with the law, the parliament should also form the Council of Ministers and the Central Election Commission and create all conditions to hold a snap election in the Republic, Spivak said in the statement received by the Donetsk News Agency.

DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was killed in an explosion in central Donetsk on August 31. DPR Council of Ministers deputy chairman Dmitriy Trapeznikov began to perform DPR Head's duties.*jk
