Donetsk, Oct 4 — DAN. Lawmakers of the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Council have ratified the international agreement on the Republic’s accession to the Russian Federation, the DPR parliament reported on its website.
The parliament approved the law “On Ratification of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic on the Accession of the DPR to Russia and Establishment of a New Federal Subject” on Monday.
The law then was signed by DPR Head Denis Pushilin and the document was published.
On October 3, the State Duma lower house of the Russian parliament ratified the agreements on the accession of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions to Russia, which were signed in Moscow on September 30. *jk
