Donetsk, Sep 14 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic parliament’s interim commission for investigating illegal practices of Tax and Revenue Ministry officials will meet here on Friday for its first session, the parliament’s press service reported.
“Today, the DPR People’s Council Interior Commission will have its first session to address the facts of damage caused to businesses and natural persons as a result of illegal practices of DPR Tax and Revenue Ministry officials,” the press service said.
Earlier reports said that large DPR agricultural enterprises and transport companies had accused the Ministry and specifically its former head Alexander Timofeyev in property takeovers that lost them hundreds of million rubles. Timofeyev was relieved of his duties on September 7. Yevgeniy Lavrenov was appointed acting Tax and Revenue minister.*jk
