Donetsk, Dec 20 – DAN. DPR and LPR representatives at the peace talks scheduled for December 21-22, will resume their efforts to persuade Ukraine to implement the Minsk Agreements in its entirety.
The DPR delegation to the Minsk talks released a statement today announcing that the next round of talks will concern the issues of ceasefire violations, endorsement of a joint statement, development of a consolidated road map taking into account the Republic's suggestions, Ukraine delivering on its obligation to carry out the legal clearance of released detainees.
"Currently, Ukrainian delegation remains aimed at promulgation of empty statements and unviable initiatives with the ultimate goal of shifting the blame for the failure to fulfil its obligation onto other participants of the N4 and OSCE SMM," the statement reads.
The previous round of talks took place on December 8-9. The DPR said it was ready to consider Ukrainian suggestion on the coordination mechanism, but eventually the meeting ended without substantial results. *ot
