Donetsk, Oct 5 – DAN. DPR and LPR representatives have signed today a road map for social and economic cooperation between the Republics. The meeting took place in the DPR Ministry of Economic Development in Donetsk.
The document is signed by DPR acting minister of economic development Viktoria Romanyuk, LPR minister of economic development Elena Kostenko, DPR acting minister of labor and social policy, Larisa Tolstykina, LPR minister of labor and social policy Svetlana Malakhova, DPR acting minister of agricultural policy and food Vladimir Goryachev, LPR deputy minister of agriculture Natalia Kalugina.
"It has been a long journey; I think it is an important stage of our economies interaction, as the road map covers legislations synchronization in the spheres of foreign economy and investments. I think that further on we shall be building priority legislation that we need to be synchronized," Romanyuk said.
The road map covers legislation synchronization, exchange of information on events aimed at foreign economy relationships restoration, cooperation on public procurement, experience exchange and formation of data base, cooperation on industry and agriculture, public utilities sector; enhancing collaboration by recognition of documents issued by executive authorities, organization of business events, exchange of information on innovative projects and other steps.
"We have been working on the road map for a month, harmonized all the articles and today I'm signing it with a great pleasure," Kostenko said.
DPR interim head Denis Pushilin has recently visited LPR with a working visit and met LPR acting Head Leonid Pasechnik. Pushilin said DPR and LPR state agencies should work towards cooperation to achieve common goals, focusing on fighting corruption and collaborating in economy sphere. *ot
