Donetsk, Mar 29 - DAN. The Industry and Trade Ministries of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics signed a protocol of cooperation in industry, trade and technical regulation in Donetsk on Thursday.
“We sign the protocol of cooperation as part of effective regulatory documents inked by the heads of the two Republics,” said acting DPR industry and trade minister Alexey Granovskiy. “Our industrial regions will be able to launch close cooperation between enterprises; consequently, it will boost the Republic’s trade and economies.”
“A road map for industrial companies interaction will be presented in the near future,” Granovskiy added.
LPR industry and trade minister Dmitriy Bozhic signed the document for the Lugansk People’s Republic. “We hope for close cooperation in transport machine building and metallurgy; our economic entities already supply products to the Donetsk People’s Republic,” Bozhic said.
On January 31, 2018, DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko and acting LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik signed a protocol of intent to promote closer economic cooperation and establish a common customs space. The commission on harmonising the legislation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics held a meeting on February 9. *jk
