Donetsk, Oct 23 - DAN. The administrations of towns in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Russian Federation have signed three dozen twinning agreements over the past two years, Russian State Duma deputy, Russia-Donbass Integration Committee coordinator Andrey Kozenko said at a forum in Donetsk on Tuesday.
“Over the past two years, more than 30 twinning agreements between Donbass and Russian towns have been signed,” Kozenko said.
In March 2018, Kozenko said at an Integration Committee session in Crimea that all DPR and LPR towns should have twining relationship with Russia.
On Tuesday, the international forum “Russian World and Donbass: from Cooperation to Integration” opened in Donetsk. The four-day event is expected to attract some 4,000 participants from the DPR, the LPR, Russia, South Ossetia, Belarus and Nicaragua.*jk
