DPR Head Zakharchenko sacks education minister Larisa Polyakova

Donetsk, Mar 2 – DAN. The DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko has dismissed the minister of education Larisa Polyakova from her office.

"I'm ordering to dismiss the minister of education and science Larisa Polyakova from her position," the decree published on the official website of the DPR head reads.

Zakharchenko appointed the rector of the Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture Evgeniy Gorokhov the new minister of education.

Both decrees were signed on 19 February 2018 and came into force on that day. *ot
