Donetsk, Jan 18 – DAN. DPR is finalizing the development of a Labour Code, it might be adopted at the spring session of the People’s Council, the chairwoman of the social and housing policy committee Yulia Kryukova said.
Public hearings took place in Donetsk today with the participation of lawmakers, trade union representatives, members of the Public Chamber.
“The Labour Code is being finalised, we are expecting comments from the relevant ministries and agencies, after that we shall file the project with the People’s Council. It is based on Russian laws. I hope it will be adopted at the spring session,” Kryukova said.
The document regulates the employee-employer rights and responsibilities, protection of labour rights and lawful interests of the sides.
The project has been under development for six years, the Parliament sent it back for refinement in November 2015. Currently Ukrainian norms are applicable in the DPR. *ot
