Donetsk, Feb 16 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic is cooperating with 20 regions of the Russian Federation as part of the integration programme, head of DPR-Russian Centre, parliament speaker Denis Pushilin told reporters on Friday.
The integration process with Russia is gaining momentum. It’s not just our wish, it’s the wish of Russian regions we cooperate with,” Pushilin said. “Their number has now increased to 20 from 11 in late December.”
Last year, DPR and Russia carried out more than 700 integration actions in culture, sports, education and health care. They also exchanged experience in order to put receivership companies in operation, and launched cooperation between jouranlists, public orgnisations, trade unions and lawmakers. The integration events involved more than 3,000 people.
Russian Centre was set up in DPR to promote Donbass-Russian integration. It is headed by Denis Pushilin.*jk
