Donetsk, Oct 18 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic authorities will pay special attention to the development of the machine building sector, acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.
“We have to work across all sectors such as metallurgy, framing, food industry etc. Regrettably, machine building has not received enough attention,” Pushilin said. “Machine building is a technological process which yields larger returns, so we have to focus on it.”
Pushilin called for reducing the administrative pressure on companies and finding new destinations for products with the assistance of the local business community. “Indeed, we have destinations and orders from European countries, but the logistics chain needs improvement,” he said.
The DPR machine building sector brings together some 100 enterprises employing 8,000 people.*jk
