Donetsk, Dec 17 - DAN. Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov’s presence at the “Normandy Four” meeting in Paris showed how much the nationalists influenced Ukraine’s politics, Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin said at a press briefing on Tuesday.

“In fact, Zelensky does not control power-wielding bodies in the country. Furthermore, radical groups have huge influence on Ukrainian authorities, and that is why Avakov, known for his radical sentiment and supported by ultra-right formations, was in Paris to placate the nationalists,” Pushilin said. “Zelensky is incapable of making independent decisions and is actually controlled by nationalists who are coordinated by Avakov.” *jk
