Donetsk, Sep 27 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Central Election Commission has processed 31.74 percent of ballot papers cast at the referendum, CEC chairman Vladimir Vysotsky said at a press briefing in Donetsk on Tuesday.
“We’ve processed 31.74 percent of protocols; ‘yes’ votes made up 93.95 percent, ” Vysotsky said.
On September 23-27, the Donetsk People’s Republic held the referendum on accession to the Russian Federation as a constituent entity. Voting on the first four days of the referendum took place in public space of residential areas while on Tuesday, it was held at polling stations. The Lugansk People’s Republic and the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions also held reunification plebiscites on September 23-27.*jk
