Donetsk, Aug 22 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic youth organizations activists have taken part in the car rally to celebrate National Flag Day.
A column of several dozen cars sporting the Russian tricolor and flags of social organizations started from the Lenin Komsomol Park in Donetsk to drive along the thoroughfares of the DPR capital, Makeyevka and Khartsyzsk.
National Flag Day is a state holiday in Russia, established by presidential decree in 1994. The Donetsk People’s Republic is marking the holiday for the first time this year as a full-fledged region of the Russian Federation.*jk
