Donetsk, Apr 4 – DAN. The DPR court martial has sentenced a Donetsk female resident to 10 years in prison for spying for Ukrainian special services, the Prosecutor General's office said.

"A Donetsk resident has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for spying. The DPR Court Martial acting as a chamber of the DPR Supreme Court ruled that the citizen G. is culpable of a crime provided for in article 321 of the DPR Criminal Code."

According to the Prosecutor General's office, in September 2015 the convict, who was at the time a civil servant, arrived to Zaporozhye where consciously agreed to be enrolled with the Security service of Ukraine (SBU) and later collected and passed information concerning her duties to it.

"From February to October 2016, the citizen G, acting on the order of foreign intelligence, was providing the SBU with information on the DPR State Property Fund employees and its activities via the internet," the press service said.

Earlier two Donetsk residents and a Debaltsevo resident were sentenced to 14 and 19 years of prison, respectively, for spying in favor of Ukraine. *ot
