Donetsk, Mar 30 – DAN. Ukrainian forces barraged the Kirovskiy district of Donetsk on Wednesday morning, partially destroying a nine-storey multi-apartment house.

Latest reports show that one person has been killed, four others injured and taken to hospital in serious condition. Two more hospitalized people were in shock.

A dozen of flats, located on 7-9 floors, have been destroyed or severely damaged as the roof and intermediate floors collapsed.

Some lower flats have also been damaged.

Search and rescue operation is still ongoing.

At least 30 people have been evacuated to a temporary lodging in the neighbouring district.

"All the residents (of the affected house) are being registered. We will have a picture of who has left to stay with relatives or at other available locations, who has no such option. We will help everyone, of course," the city mayor Alexey Kulemzin told DAN.

Earlier reports said that two Uragan MLRS rockets hit the area. One of them hit a residential house at 8 Pintera street, the other one exploded next to the school No.97 injuring a civilian and damaging the school, a kindergarten and a boiler house. *ot
