Donetsk, Oct 27 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have reopened fire at the town of Shakhtyorsk in the east of the Donetsk People’s Republic, local residents told the Donetsk News Agency.
Preliminary reports said that strikes had been delivered at an oil depot and the railway station which was shelled on Wednesday evening. The artillery attack started fires; smoke is seen from all parts of the town.
The Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said that Ukrainian armed formations had fired three missiles from an American high mobility artillery rocket system at Shakhtyorsk at 12:52.
Several explosions occurred in the town at around 21:30 on Wednesday evening. Then a large fire broke out in the Postnikovo railway station area. Several-dozen-meter-high flames were seen from all town areas.*jk
