Donetsk, Oct 7 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled a water duct in Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district, town administration head Ivan Prikhodko said on Friday.
“The water duct in the Shakhta Izotova neighborhood in Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district was damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces, ” Prikhodko wrote on Telegram.
The enemy used long-range artillery to shell the town, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes.
The Donetsk People’s Republic has been experiencing shortages of drinking water due to fighting since February. The situation remains very tense. Water is supplied to large towns such as Donetsk, Makeyevka and Gorlovka according to schedule or is not supplied at all. Drinking or service water is periodically delivered to residents for free.*jk
