Donetsk, Oct 6 - DAN. DPR rescuers have recovered the body of a miner who went missing after September 23 accident at the Zasyadko coal mine, the Ministry of Coal and Energy said.
"Today at 9.10 a.m. a miner's body was found, who did not escape the mine after the September 23 accident," the report reads.
The Ministry of Emergency is still tackling the aftermath of the fire that broke out in the mine.
The blaze started 1,235 meters deep in the mine on September 23 in a conveyorway, when 61 miners were underground. Sixty of them were successfully evacuated, the remaining one did not make it to the surface, and search efforts continued until today. *ot
