Donetsk, Aug 23 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic State Security Ministry (MGB) has prevented a terrorist bomb attack on the administration building of the Volodarskoye settlement outside Mariupol, MGB press service officer Mikhail Popov said at a press briefing at the Donetsk News Agency.
“Ukrainian citizen Yevgeny Karpenko reported to the MGB that Ukrainian secret service had recruited him when he worked temporarily in the Czech Republic,” Popov said. “After the recruitment, Czech and Ukrainian instructors trained him to use firearms and demolition techniques. Upon completion of the training, he was sent to the DPR to carry out an act of terror at the moment of the referendum on unification with Russia.”
According to Yevgeny Karpenko who was present at the briefing, he had been ordered to plant a bomb in the building of the Volodarskoye administration.*jk
