Donetsk, Jun 25 – DAN. DPR Prosecutor General's Office has filed a suit with an Arbitrary Court to ban the 'Awakening' Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists in the DPR, the office said.
"The suit was filed to protect the interests of the State represented by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Justice, and is aimed at banning a religious organization, the 'Awakening' Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, its branches and structural units in the DPR."
The Office has not specified the reason for the decision to ban the organization.
Evangelical Baptist Christians believe that the Word of God is the Bible, the books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and consist of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament. *ot
