Donetsk, Feb 15 - DAN. Eleven buildings in Donetsk have received bomb threats on Tuesday, the Donetsk People's Republic Interior Ministry reported.

“Police received information that explosive devices had been planted in a number of buildings in the Republic’s capital,” the report said. “They responded immediately, taking measures to evacuate people from the targeted buildings. There were 11 buildings on the terrorists’ list.”

There are education centres, government organizations, hospitals and dormitories among the targets. “No potentially dangerous objects or substances have been found as of now,” the Interior Ministry said.

In early February, schools, colleges, universities and civil infrastructure facilities across the DPR received bomb threats. Hundreds of bomb scares were reported in DPR townsc. More than 75,000 people were evacuated as Emergencies Ministry personnel and police checked some 500 buildings. A similar situation but on a smaller scale occurred on the day of DPR Head Denis Pushilin’s press conference on February 11. Not all bomb scares were false:  on February 1, an explosive device was found in the building of Donetsk’s Kiev district administration. *jk
