Donetsk, Dec 2 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the center of Donetsk next to the Donetsk City shopping and entertainment center; a residential building in Universitetskaya Street has been damaged by a hail of shrapnel.
At 11:20, Ukrainian gunmen fired eight BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher rounds at Donetsk’s Kievsky district, said the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
The residential area next to the shopping center came under fire. One projectile exploded in the yard of the apartment house at 110 Universitetskaya Street causing extensive shrapnel damage. Local residents are providing assistance to the wounded.
Eyewitnesses said several people have been wounded in Tamansky Avenue. Another enemy projectile hit the house at 265 Chelyuskintsev Street.
On November 30, this district came under massive Ukrainian artillery fire. The JCCC ascertained that the strikes had been delivered by Czech-made “Grad” MLRS.
Gorlovka mayor Ivan Prikhodko said that a Ukrainian artillery strike had damaged the fence and the roof of the Muchurinskaya penitentiary administration building in the town’s Nikitovsky district.*jk
