Donetsk, Jul 28 — DAN. The fire that broke out at the oil depot in Shakhtyorsk after Kiev artillery attack will not cause fuel shortages in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Acting Fuel and Energy Minister Vitaly Vlasov said on Friday.

“I assure that we have a good supply of fuel; no shortages are expected and all petrol stations are working as usual, ” Vlasov said. “The situation is under control.”

Damage assessment is underway, he added.

Ukrainian forces delivered a strike at the Shakhtyorsk oil depot at round 2:20 on Friday. The ensuing fire was extinguished by 7:40. The Donetsk News Agency earlier reported that nobody had been hurt in the attack.*jk
