Donetsk, Jun 17 — DAN. Donetsk authorities have halted traffic in the Kievskiy district of the capital due to shelling threat, the adminsitration head Alexey Kulemzin said.

“Due to the militray action, public transport has been temporary halted,” he said. Tram and trolley services are suspended on Routes 1 and 2, respectively, between Kotsyubinskogo street and Severnyi business centre throught Ochakovskogo steet.

The JCCC said that Ukrainian militants attacked the Kievskiy district early on Friday with 155 mm and 152 mm artillery, firing more than 50 rounds in two hours. The Donetsk-City Mall came under fire, a number of people are hiding at its underground parking. *ot
