Donetsk, Apr 29 - DAN. A blaze at the Donetsk oil depot caused by Ukrainian shelling has been put out, the Republic's Emergency Ministry said.

"As a result of the shelling, at 4:15 a.m two 75 m3 hexane tanks were depressurized and caught fire that engulfed 100 m2. At 09:31 a.m. the fire was extinguished," the report reads.

Ukrainian forces targeted the oil depot in the early hours of Friday. A total of 14 rounds exploded in the area from 3.50 a.m. till 4.30 a.m.
Hexane is a significant constituent of gasoline. It is a colorless, odorless liquid, widely used as a cheap, relatively safe, largely unreactive, and easily evaporated non-polar solvent. *ot
