Donetsk, Aug 2 - DAN. The Donetsk resident who passed information to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on Donetsk People’s Republic servicemen and military facilities has been sentenced to 11 years in prison, the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office press service reported on Thursday.

“The investigator ascertained that on December 12, 2016, citizen Ya. gave her consent to cooperate to an SBU agent at the Mayorsk crossing point located in a Kiev-held area of the DPR,” the press service said. “The defendant’s guilt was fully proven at the trial. She was sentenced to 11 years in prison.”

The PGO added that in the period from December 2016 through February 2017, the suspect had taken photos of DPR military installations and servicemen with her mobile phone. While being aware that the obtained data would be used against DPR security interests, she sent it to SBU agents on the Internet.*jk
