Donetsk, Feb 12 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office brought bribery charges against a Donetsk district administration deputy head, the PGO press service reported on Tuesday.

“The PGO investigation department has finished a preliminary probe into the criminal case against a Donetsk district deputy head over taking a bribe,” the press service said. “He was charged under DPR Criminal Code Article 343, Part 2 (taking a large bribe).”

The suspect helped a businessman conclude a premises lease agreement and received from him 55,000 rubles in illegal remuneration. The investigator gathered enough evidence to bring charges against the official, prosecutors said.

The case with a bill of indictment was referred to a court.
