Donetsk, Feb 15 – DAN. The Ministry of State Security (MGB) has announced a criminal investigation has been launched into the terrorist attack in Gorlovka.
"The injured service member has been hospitalized in a moderate condition. A criminal investigation has been launched under Article 229 (Terrorist Attack). Investigation is ongoing," the statement reads.
An improvised explosive device attached to the underseal of a car belonging to a People's Militia commander went off at around 7.50 a.m. on the Pobedy street in Gorlovka. Commander's minor daughter was inside the car as well.
According to the DPR People's Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov, the commander was taking his daughter to school at the moment the IED went off.
Ukrainian joint detachment of the West (Zapad) special task center is behind the terrorist attack, the People's Militia said.*ot
