Donetsk, Dec 11 - DAN. The criminal case against a Ukrainian saboteur from 30th Separate Mechanised Brigade has been referred to court, the Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“PGO investigators have completed a preliminary probe into the criminal case against serviceman B. of the Ukrainian army’s 30th Separate Mechanised Brigade accused of crimes covered by DPR Criminal Code Articles 232, 323, 29 (part 3), 327 (items a and b, part 2), 378 (part 1) and 256 (part 2),” the PGO press service said.
On May 22, 2018, the servicemen was sent to the DPR with a reconnaissance mission to find out and record the location of hardware on DPR defence lines. He was also tasked with recording the location of DPR enterprises and communications, transport infrastructure and life support facilities as the targets of subversive operations to be carried out by his brigade.
On May 24, the saboteur crossed the DPR border illegally and arrived in Dokuchayevsk where DPR law-enforcement officers detained him.
“The investigators have gathered enough evidence to charge the Ukrainian servicemen with the above crimes. The criminal case has been sent to the court for review on the merits,” the PGO said.*jk
