Donetsk, Dec 15 – DAN. DPR authorities plan to launch the Stirol plant in Gorlovka in Q2 2018, said the minister of industry and trade Alexey Granovskiy.
"As for chemical industry, we plan to launch Stirol plant. Mineral fertilizers production is to begin in Q2 2018."
As the enterprise reaches full capacity it will employ 3,000 people.
The DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko announced plans to relaunch Stirol in February 2017.
Stirol is one of the oldest and biggest manufacturers of nitrogen fertilizers in Donbass, located in frontline Gorlovka. In March 2017 after Kiev refused to lift economic blockade it imposed on the region, the plant was transferred under external management. *ot
