Donetsk, Jun 14 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic’s socio-economic development program is worth hundreds of billion rubles, DPR Prime Minister Yevgeny Solnstev said on the sidelines of the Petersburg International Economic Forum on Wednesday.
“We have an estimate, it’s a large sum that runs into hundreds of billion rubles; regrettably, this information is confidential, ” Solntsev said. “The plan is there: a socio-economic development program has been approved for overall rebuild of the Donetsk People’s Republic.”
It provides for the restoration of vital and social infrastructure facilities, housing and industrial companies, he said.
“More than 100 facilities are not operating for this or that reason; some of them are not loaded to full capacity. Our priority is to attract investors and find destination markets for operating and surviving companies, ” the DPR prime minister said.
The St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the key event in Russian business life has opened in the country’s second largest city on Wednesday. The DPR delegation includes regional government officials.*jk
