Donetsk, Oct 26 – DAN. A gas conduit has partially collapsed at the Enakiyevo Metallurgical Plant (EMZ), the press service of the CJSC Vneshtorgservis said.
"A waste-gas duct of a coverter the EMZ partially collapsed in the morning of October 26. The converter has been temporarily halted," the report said.
No one was injured. Repair works are undereay; a commission has been formed to investigate the incident with participation of the plant's management and experts. The press service said that the plant continues to operate normally as iron and steel flows have been redirected to other lines.
EMZ is one of the largest DPR metallurgical enterprises. It passed under external management on March 1, 2017 as Kiev imposed economic blockade on Donbass.*ot
