Number of food companies in DPR grows 4.3 pc over the year

Donetsk, Dec 1 – DAN. Six food companies began operating in the DPR this year, said acting minister of economic development Viktoria Romanyuk.

"As of 1 January 2017, 140 food companies were in operation in the DPR, while by November 1 there were six more registered, showing 4.3 pc growth," she said.

Two of the newly launched enterprises are Donetsk Brewery and Vinterprom company, which stood still for two years; the other four are brand new and are engaged in meat processing, alcohol production, bakery and convenience food.
