Donetsk, Aug 31 — DAN. The Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have harvested wheat, the Russian Agriculture Ministry press service said on Thursday.
“Seasonal farming works are running as usual. The regions specialize in crop farming and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions are also large producers of vegetables, ” the press service said adding that wheat harvesting had been completed.
Earlier reports said that the grain and leguminous crop harvest in the new territories had topped 3.9 million tons.*jk
