Donetsk, Nov 17 — DAN. Investment projects implemented by Free Economic Zone (FEZ) residents are expected to create 869 new jobs in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the press service of the regional Economic Development Ministry told the Donetsk News Agency.
“New jobs creation is one of the conditions for FEZ participants who numbered 15 as of November 15, 2023, ” the Ministry said.
The agreement between a FEZ participant and the Territorial Development Fund envisions the creation of new jobs in the first three years from the date of signing.
In late June, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law on launching a Free Economic Zone in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The FEZ will operate until January 31 2050. The Territorial Development Fund has been appointed the FEZ managing company.*jk
