Donetsk, Jan 11- DAN. The Yenakiyevo meat processing plant has shipped the first 1,500 kilograms of sausage products to Russia’s Rostov region, the Donetsk People’s Republic Agro-industrial Policy and Food Ministry reported on Tuesday.
“The first batch of sausage produced in the DPR has been exported to Russia,” the Ministry said adding that the Yenakiyevo meat processing plant was the trailblazer.
The company has shipped 1.5 tons of dry-cured sausage, according to the Ministry.
They Yenakiyevo meat-processing plant, a top DPR sausage company, was founded in 1930.
On November 15, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Decree No 657 ordering the government to adopt measures aimed at easing access of Donbass-made products to Russian markets and lifting the export/import limitations. These measures will apply until the political settlement of the Donbass conflict based on the Minsk Agreements. *jk
