Donetsk, Feb 22 - DAN. DPR state-owned enterprises have produced the first million tons of coal since the beginning of this year, the Republic’s Coal and Energy Ministry press service told Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“State-owned enterprises have produced one million tons of coal since the beginning of this year,” a Ministry representative said. “The last symbolic ton of fuel was proudly hoisted to the surface by Skochinskiy Mine workers of Donetsk Coal Energy Company.”
Acting Deputy Minister of Coal and Energy Anatoliy Nesterenko, First Deputy Head of Donetsk Administration Nikolai Volkov and coal mines’ executives visited the Skochinskiy mine to congratulate the workers on their labour achievement.
There are five state-owned companies operating in DPR at present: Torezantratsit, Makeyevugol, Donetsk Coal Energy Company and Komsomolets Donbassa and Zasyadko Mines.*jk
